Election Day is just 36 days away and you may have noticed that the annexation of unincorporated King County isn’t the only thing being voted on that is getting quite a bit of attention. Wednesday, October 3rd, holds the first of three debates between current President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, and would be Commander in Chief, Willard Mitt Romney. This Wednesday the Obama campaign is hosting a debate watching party at Mick Kelly’s in Burien. The party will start at 5:30pm and continue through 7:30pm. Here is what Pamela McAllister, the representative for the Obama campaign, has to say about the event: “The first presidential debate of the 2012 election is Wednesday, October 3rd. We’ll be gathering to watch the debate together and make plans to get involved for the final month of the election. Join us for what is sure to be a fun evening!” Everyone is welcome but would be attendees are asked RSVP if possible by visiting the Obama Campaign’s event listing here.
