We’ve all been there. We go to the doctor, sign in and sit in a lobby flipping through irrelevant magazines for what seems like an eternity. We finally get called to the doctor’s office only to face another eternity waiting for a nurse or doctor to open the door … flipping through more magazines, curiously inspecting the medical equipment and having hopes raised as footsteps near the door only to have them dashed as the steps walk on past. Once we finally get to speak with a medical professional they tell us we need to speak with a specialist across town (or down the hall if we are lucky). According to a Burien City Manager’s report, “Group Health corporate is planning a $24 million expansion of (the) Burien Clinic … Group Health plans to transform patient care at the new Burien Medical Center through an innovative design approach they call Production Preparation Process. If you were at Three Tree Point for Independence Day fireworks, you must have noticed that Quartermaster Harbor on Vashon Island had a pretty amazing fireworks display. It was hard to watch anything but those even though we were all the way across the water. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find a site with any good photos to link to but late last night we were sent some more photo’s from readers. These pictures are all of the Three Tree Point firework display. They were all taken with a camera phones but we thought they looked pretty cool so we decided to post them.
