Last night, August 19th, marked one of the most epic nights in Burien history. Over 100 people showed up to witness the battles that took place between those that were willing lay down their cleanliness for an opportunity at greatness in the pie jousting world. The Burien Pie Joust was a fundraiser for a group that is currently working to have bike racks which double as public art installed around Burien.

My plants look great but in order to keep them healthy, orderly, and productive, some of the branches are going to have to come off. Whether you love them or hate them, the Burien Town Square condos are here to stay. Recently there have been a number of reports that the condos will be going back onto the market at a 35% reduction rate. It was first thought that they would be going on the market yesterday, August 1st. Now it looks like it will actually be possible to purchase condos somewhere around the third week of August.
