DNA LifePrint Child Safety Event

news
Next Saturday, June 4th, from 9:30am-2pm, Burien Nissan will be hosting the DNA LifePrint Child Safety Event at their lot on the corner of 1st Ave South and South 160th St.

You might recognize the event’s spokesman, John Walsh, from the television show America’s Most Wanted. John has sponsored a series of events and organizations since he became famous in the success of AMW in helping catch criminals, and promoting public awareness and safety.

The DNA LifePrint Child Safety Event provides parents with the opportunity to receive tools that are recommended by the FBI and the Department of Justice to help keep their children safe. Participants are given a free biometric 10 digit fingerprint profile, a free high resolution full color digital photograph of the child, a free child safety journal, and a home DNA Identification Kit.

You don’t need to be worried about someone having all of your child’s information because this event does no databasing. All information is given to the parents and no one else. There is no record taken by anyone other than the parents.

The whole idea behind this event is to provide parents with all the tools they need incase something ever happens to their child. Of course everyone always hopes that they wont need something like this, but it doesn’t hurt to be prepared incase that need ever arises.
