If you were at Three Tree Point for Independence Day fireworks, you must have noticed that Quartermaster Harbor on Vashon Island had a pretty amazing fireworks display. It was hard to watch anything but those even though we were all the way across the water. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find a site with any good photos to link to but late last night we were sent some more photo’s from readers. These pictures are all of the Three Tree Point firework display. They were all taken with a camera phones but we thought they looked pretty cool so we decided to post them.
If you want to see a really flattering set of photos taken of the Three Tree Point fireworks display, local Burien photographer Michael Brunk has some awesome ones displayed on Flickr. We recommend that you check out his stuff because he is extremely talented and always does a great job.

This last Monday held Burien’s 90th annual Independence Day Parade. Burien Daily Photographer Abby Litttleton planted herself down around Town Square Park and took some great photo’s of what the event had to show. Abby does a great job of bringing attention to the details of what is going on. There are almost 200 photos so take some time to check out some of the stuff you might have missed if you were at the parade.

Yesterday morning was Burien’s 12th annual Burien Clean Sweep. According to Discover Burien Events Manager Debra George, around 350 people volunteered for the event. Though the tonnage of actual waste collected won’t be determined until later this week, Debra wanted to send thanks to the sponsors and everyone who came out. “We look forward to doing this again next year” she added.
One of the volunteers, Abby Littleton, is a photographer for Burien Daily. Over the day, she snapped a beautiful smorgasbord of pictures for everyone to check out. We liked all of them so we decided there was no reason not to post each and every picture for you look through.
