Burien’s 2012 World Pie Joust Championship on August 18th was a great success with around 300 people showing up to compete, cheer, or drink. Team Burien Daily admittedly performed somewhat underwhelmingly when compared to the domination that was delivered by City of Burien Planning Commissioner and Pie Joust World Champion Brooks Stanfield.
